Giudici's phone was hacked and the offending hacker posted a number of now-deleted private Twitter and Instagram messages to Giudici's Twitter timeline — and one exchange involved a blind date setup for Viall.

"Hi Nick, my friend (the leggy blonde on the right) has been asking about you since Andi's season but was wondering about you more," Giudici captioned a private picture she sent to Viall on Instagram. "I'm not sure what your status is but she's very interested in you and I told her I'd reach out :). Anyway, hope you're doing well. Catherine."
Viall promptly responded with a not-so-enthusiastic answer — but he wasn't about to turn away a hot date, either.
"Hi Catherine! Nice to hear from you," he wrote. "Well I'm not dating anyone at the moment. Set ups [sic] are always dicey but I'm sure you're a good friend. Where does your friend live? [Phone number redacted] might be easier than dm in the future. Te [sic] Shawn [sic] I say hi. Hopefully someday I'll get to finally meet you two in person. -nick-."
Unfortunately, the subsequent texts rehashing the "dicey" date between the "leggy blonde" and Viall were not leaked for our reading enjoyment.
Sadly, the hacker also deleted a fairly large amount of Giudici's personal photos that were on her phone as well, and she posted her dismay on Twitter.

Giudici's husband, former Bachelor Sean Lowe, also took to social media to speak out about the hacking incident.

Lowe is rightfully defensive of his wife, especially since the couple is nesting now. They announced on Instagram last December that they are expecting their first child.
